a dreamy evening in lake toxaway, nc

Hey, y’all.

Oh, my, is the historic The Grand Olde Station in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina a special place. Make a trip to the mountains this Fall for a meal and a view. You won’t regret it!

We had a gorgeous time there with The Miniaturist’s Assistant in the awesome upstairs event space. There’s not much better than being around a friendly table in a room filled with warm wood and candlelight, drinking delicious wine and talking books and writing.

My thanks to the fine folks at The Grand Olde Station, especially events coordinator Ally Murphy and the servers and chefs—I got the chef’s pasta and it was heavenly—and, of course, as always to the lovely readers who chose to spend their evening with me. The Grand Olde Station is a place my body felt good in all the way down to my bones. My husband and I loved it, and we’ll be back!
