A literary evening in alpharetta, georgia!

Wow, does Alpharetta, Georgia show up for authors! We had such a ball at our Historical Fiction Event at the Alpharetta Library!

What a gem this library is to the town and to the Atlanta area; I’m completely in love with the lion and mouse sculpture out front, the mobiles in the lobby, and the warm way my friends and fellow novelists Kimberly Brock, Madeline Martin, Lynn Cullen, and I were welcomed. The awesome booksellers from Poe and Company Bookstore were on hand to sell our books, and the fabulous Kate Seng (author and bookseller) moderated an energetic and fun panel. (I think she separated Kimberly Brock and me on purpose.)

The best part, always, is meeting readers in the signing line, learning about your lives, what you love to read, and so much more. When you buy and read our books, you invite us into our lives, and that is a gift.

Coming in at a close second: Getting to hang with writer friends.

Good stuff all around!
