come see us in greensboro!

Hey, y’all!

I cannot wait to be in Greensboro, North Carolina, this weekend, for the Greensboro Bound Book Festival! And I’d LOVE to see y’all there!

3 Days. Endless Stories. All Free.

Events are being held in Greensboro April 9 - 11th. My panel, How Fiction Teaches Us American History, will take place on Saturday, April 11th at 1:00 PM at the Greensboro History Museum. Ben Yagoda (author of Alias O. Henry) and I will be in conversation, moderated by Libby Buck (author of Point Anna).

There are so many fabulous events to attend, and while I hope (she says, crossing her fingers) you’ll come to ours, I’m also especially excited to hear from debut novelist Alice Martin (Westward Women) on Friday night, and award-winning authors Imani Perry (South to America) and Silas House (Southernmost) on Saturday afternoon, among many others.
