The Miniaturist’s Assistant and I were so lucky to be feted in Columbia, South Carolina at my aunt’s beautiful early-1900s bungalow for two separate book events. I had a wonderful time with the loveliest groups of readers. It is always such a joy to be at home in the easy grace and charm of South Carolina women.
