Prior to the book talk, we have a limited number of spots to join us for a hike in Black Balsam Knob/Tennent Mtn. Sign up via the Eventbrite link above. Limited to 15 people. Please arrange carpooling, if possible, as the Black Balsam parking lots are known to fill up on weekends.

Trail Rating: *Moderate - 500-1000 ft elevation gain, typically 3-8 miles, recommended minimum 2L water, suitable for intermediate hikers
