Big time book tour fun at m. judson booksellers
Well, all I can say is that Greenville, South Carolina sure knows how to make a hometown girl feel welcome. We had an absolute BALL at M. Judson Booksellers last night, celebrating the launch of The Miniaturist’s Assistant with “High Society” glasses of rose, tons of friends old and new, and a signing line all the way through the bookstore.
There’s something indescribably special about being in your hometown to celebrate your work, and to have people—strangers (now friends), family friends, your middle and high school teachers, and more—show up for you. It means more than I am adequately able to say.
M. Judson hosts creative and fun author events and other bookish goodness all year long, and their summer calendar is packed. Don’t visit Greenville, SC, without a stop at this jewel in Greenville’s beautiful downtown.
And thank you, Greenville, for helping make me a writer.
** Next stop on book tour is on June 11th in Charleston, South Carolina, for a very special evening at The Gibbes Museum of Art—the inspiration for Gamble’s work, and Daniel’s life, in The Miniaturist’s Assistant. Get your tickets here.
