Copper fox books + upcoming events

Hey, y’all!

Well, I had the loveliest of days at Copper Fox Books in sweet Blue Ridge, Georgia! What a dream of a bookstore—all draped in deep greens, old-gold picture frames, and the coolest and cutest of foxes. I felt like I was in a favorite library.

The store was packed all day with customers browsing the stacks and buying yummy drinks and treats, and I loved being set up in front of the children’s section, because kids ask THE BEST questions. A former-camp counselor’s eternal thanks to all the parents for letting me hang out with your kiddos and give them free candy.

I left signed copies of The Miniaturist’s Assistant at the shop, so be sure to get by for yours and to check out this awesome spot!

Longing for a leaf-peeping trip to the mountains? Get on up to gorgeous Lake Toxaway, NC and come see me on Saturday, Oct. 25th at 5:30 PM at the historic Grand Olde Station—an awesome spot recently featured on PBS’s North Carolina Weekend! I’ll be there chatting with folks, answering questions, and signing copies of The Miniaturist’s Assistant. Totally casual, free and open to all. Bring your book clubs and your book-loving friends!

The best part of this author gig is meeting people and having the chance, if even for a moment, to get a glimpse of your lives. I never take it for granted.

See y’all on Saturday!
