Mid-atlantic book tour (w/ my 12 year-old)

Hey, y’all,

As I type this, my 12 year-old and I have been on the road for 5 days on a Mid-Atlantic book tour for THE MINIATURIST’S ASSISTANT … and we have 5 more days to go!

We’ve had a ball popping into bookstores for me to sign stock (basically, signing any copies of the novel they have) and to meet booksellers. I’ve also had two events so far, at The Crafty Reader in picture-perfect downtown Milford, Delaware, and at the fabulous beach town of Bethany Beach Books in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

So far, on our trip from the mountains of Western North Carolina, across the state, and up into Virginia, Maryland, and Delware, we’ve visited the following bookstores:

Bookmarks in Winston-Salem, NC

Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, NC

Novel Grounds in Chesapeake, VA

Peach Street Books in Cape Charles, VA

The Crafty Reader in Milford, DE

Flying Cloud Booksellers in Easton, MD

Book Hounds in St. Michaels, MD

Bethany Beach Books in Bethany Beach, MD

Soon, we’ll make our way to Edgewater, Maryland, to Wyrd Bookstore — where I have an author event on Thursday, August 14th at 6:00 PM! I can’t wait to share THE MINIATURIST’S ASSISTANT with their community.

After that, we plan to visit several more bookstores in D.C., West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina as we make our way back South. Follow along with me on Instagram, where I’m sharing photos and reels of our adventure!

Hey… any excuse to be in a bookstore!
